Do you think there is a generational difference on the way we see the #environment?

  1. Hi all,
Yes,there is. Ok, I'm an OLD (42) punk, but my parents are even older and they chose to remain relatively ignorant of environmental issues. My Mom thinks all of the huge farms in central CA are FABULOUS and provide so much wonderful food. She is very pissy when I mention pesticides, run off, etc. Doesn't WANT TO KNOW.
My father keeps up on issues but doesn't do much to change his lifestyle.
Generations born in the 60's and thereafter (w/ exception of the die-hard grey-haired hippies) are usually more actively involved in protecting our world environment through the 3 R's (reduce, etc), purchasing sustainable eco-conscious, organic foods and so on. I think us post-60's folk realize government lies and we have to make our own changes. We rock;-) Now... to influence the ignorant few...
